Welcome to my blog page! I hope you will find the posts on my blog to be both interesting and educational. Being an instructor for several years now, I tend to approach anything I do with an eye towards how I can make it a learning experience, both for me as well as for others. Creating this page certainly qualifies!
Since I have viewed a number of blog pages by others and even read a book on blogging, I found that I did not want to just repeat information that many others have made available and that can be found posted in many other places. What I hope to do is to offer more insight and explanation of much of the information that is imparted to both members and nonmembers of AHDI and MTIA. I plan to take time to give background information, description of key concepts, and help anyone who reads my pages to have a better understanding of the ideals and strategies that have brought about many of the changes that have taken place.

You were my instructor at TCC -- 1994/95 to be exact. Thanks for the great beginning!!! Having been with the same transcription company for over 10 years now, I find myself feeling it is time to move on. Could you give me any insight on transcription opportunities locally (live in Chesapeake) or nationally? Thanks for your input.
