Participants will travel to Capital Hill in Washington, D.C. and talk with their legislators about issues affecting healthcare documentation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;2008 Advocacy Day &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Anne Malloy, CMT and Diane Warth, CMT&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="left"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;meeting with legislative aid.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;Registration &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;Registration for this event using the online registration or down load a registration form for mail or fax use. You can either register for a single day or for all 3 days. Registration information including your lobbying packets can be picked up at 5:00 p.m. Registration is followed by a first timers orientation, a welcome reception (food provided) and a lobbying briefing. Individuals who are new to lobbying will have free time to meet with their state attendees for an evening breakout session.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Wednesday, June 3&lt;/strong&gt; Attendees are on their own to get with their state attendees and make their Hill visits. After a day on Capitol Hill, we will meet back at the Holiday Inn Arlington for a debriefing networking hour where members can share their experiences on the Hill. &lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="color:#3366ff;"&gt;Attendees that have purchased tickets in advance will enjoy an evening bus tour of the monuments. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Thursday, June 4&lt;/strong&gt; Second lobbying day for attendees to meet with their legislators. After the last day on the Hill attendees will meet back at the hotel for a debriefing, closing keynote, and an end of event reception. Food will be provided to registrants.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;CECs:&lt;/strong&gt; This event is pre-approved for 10 Continuing Education Credits by the Credentialing Program at AHDI. I hope you will find the posts on my blog to be both interesting and educational. Being an instructor for several years now, I tend to approach anything I do with an eye towards how I can make it a learning experience, both for me as well as for others. Creating this page certainly qualifies!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:georgia;"&gt;Since I have viewed a number of blog pages by others and even read a book on blogging, I found that I did not want to just repeat information that many others have made available and that can be found posted in many other places. What I hope to do is to offer more insight and explanation of much of the information that is imparted to both members and nonmembers of AHDI and MTIA.
