You are invited to join many of your fellow AHDI and MTIA members during the 4th Annual Advocacy Summit to be held June 2-4, 2009 in Arlington, Virginia. Participants will travel to Capital Hill in Washington, D.C. and talk with their legislators about issues affecting healthcare documentation.

Registration
Registration for this event using the online registration or down load a registration form for mail or fax use. You can either register for a single day or for all 3 days. MTIA members will need to call our Member Services line at 800-982-2182 to receive the discounted rate.
Rates
Full registration (all 3 days) $40 Members of AHDI or MTIA
Nonmembers $65.00
On-site fees will apply after May 1, 2009.

Tuesday, June 2 Begins with a Board of Directors meeting in Arlington, VA at the hotel. Registration information including your lobbying packets can be picked up at 5:00 p.m. Registration is followed by a first timers orientation, a welcome reception (food provided) and a lobbying briefing. Individuals who are new to lobbying will have free time to meet with their state attendees for an evening breakout session.

Wednesday, June 3 Attendees are on their own to get with their state attendees and make their Hill visits. After a day on Capitol Hill, we will meet back at the Holiday Inn Arlington for a debriefing networking hour where members can share their experiences on the Hill. Attendees that have purchased tickets in advance will enjoy an evening bus tour of the monuments.
Thursday, June 4 Second lobbying day for attendees to meet with their legislators. After the last day on the Hill attendees will meet back at the hotel for a debriefing, closing keynote, and an end of event reception. Food will be provided to registrants.
CECs: This event is pre-approved for 10 Continuing Education Credits by the Credentialing Program at AHDI. CMTs will receive 5 Medicolegal and 5 Professional Development CECs for attending the full event
